presentation

Me and my group went to the library and then to the Atrium a couple days ago to finish up our presentation. We make the powerpoint and put the pictures we had taken on it. We were going to present on Tuesday but when i put the flash drive in the computer in the classroom, most of our pictures wouldn't show up on the pc. So I sent the pics to Q since he has a pc and i have a mac. Hopefully today in class our presentation will work, because i don't know what else we can do to make our pictures show up..

Interview

We had to interview someone for the group project we're working on. I interviewed my roommate, Erica. We talked for about half an hour about how often she eats in the Atrium and how she feels if she is sitting alone while eating. I also asked her if she has ever notice anything about other people who are eating alone. She said she had noticed some things, which were similar to what my group had observed when we went to the Atrium together. Overall, the interview was interesting. But I wasn't really surprised by anything she said because I know her very well so I pretty much already knew how she would feel about this topic. Although she did have a few ideas that I had not thought of before.

5-annotated bib

We had to write an annotated bibliography for our big project. I've done these before so I wasn't really worried about it. It turned out to me harder than I thought it would be though. Actually writing it wasn't hard, but it took me awhile to find reliable sources about my topic. I procrastinated like I usually do... so it was more stressful than it should have been. I got it done in time though, and I'm pretty happy with the sources I found. Most of them will be very helpful when I am doing in-depth research.

4-group project

I haven't been keeping up with these blogs very well, but I'm gonna try to be more consistent with writing them now. So in English class right now we're working on a group project. My group has been observing people in the Atrium. We noticed a lot of people and how they were acting. Some people were with groups of friends while others were eating by themselves. We saw that there was a big difference in the way those two types of people acted, and decided that was what we wanted to focus on for the project.
